Superhead “Gifted” to Diddy?

According to reports, Karrine Steffans, now known as Elizabeth Ovesen claims she was gifted to Diddy.

The author of the book “Confessions of a Video Vixen,” which unveiled the troubling and crazy behaviors of hip-hop figures nearly 20 years ago, has shared shocking new insights about her past.

Ovesen claims that in February 2001, shortly after Diddy’s breakup with Jennifer Lopez, she was “gifted” to him following a night filled with partying and substance use alongside music executive Irv Gotti in a Los Angeles limousine.

In an extensive interview with The Daily Beast, Ovesen, who has legally changed her name from Superhead, reflects on her experiences.

“In hindsight, I understand that I was presented to him as a gift by another executive,” the 46-year-old recounted. She vividly recalled how Diddy’s car pulled up around 3 a.m. as they left a club, with the men around her speaking on her behalf.

According to her previous memoir from 2005, these men included Irv Gotti, the head of Murder Inc Records, and prominent artist Ja Rule.

Ovesen recalled Diddy, then known as Puff Daddy, being at the peak of his game, embodying the glamorous side of the industry. “The moment I met him at that club, I knew it was a significant opportunity,” she noted. “He simply said, ‘Send her to my house,’ and that was it. I was instructed to go to his place, marking the beginning of our interactions.”

Aware of the expectations awaiting her at Diddy’s residence, Ovesen entered with a clear understanding of the environment she was stepping into—a realm where “almost anything goes.”

“I wouldn’t classify myself as one of his victims,” she asserted, emphasizing that those who have suffered deserve the chance to share their stories.

Ovesen recounted a lavish party at Diddy’s Star Island mansion in Miami, recalling an extravagant scene reminiscent of “The Great Gatsby”—men dressed in tuxedos, topless women adorned with angel wings, and a mix of champagne and synchronized swimmers outside, while illicit activities unfolded inside.

“You pick your pill, grab your champagne, and that sets the tone for your evening,” she described. “It was truly intense.”

However, the revelations didn’t stop there. Ovesen expressed her distress upon seeing footage of Diddy allegedly assaulting his then-girlfriend Cassie during an event dubbed a “Freak Off.”

“I couldn’t watch it all; it was deeply triggering for me,” she confessed, revealing her own history of abuse at the hands of rappers she has dated. “I completely understand that feeling.”

Ovesen pointed out that the issue extends beyond just Diddy or the hip-hop scene. “It’s about men who harbor a deep-seated disdain for women,” she explained.

During her reflections, Ovesen shared her belief that many men struggle with their own identities and have unresolved issues regarding their sexuality, leading to hostility towards women. “They don’t love women; many wish they could be women, but they can’t, and that breeds hatred,” she said. “They resort to violence against us frequently.”

In another candid memory from her book, Ovesen recounted a night when she took ecstasy, and Diddy brought her and rapper Xzibit to an LGBTQ+ club. She recalled Diddy allegedly making an awkward comment to Xzibit, suggesting she was the kind of woman who could put him “on tape with fingers in your booty.”

“That was bizarre,” she remarked. “Even Xzibit found it strange. We hadn’t even been intimate, so it felt like an odd thing to say.”
